Sisodia Palace is 6 KM from Jaipur on Jaipur -Agra road. As soon as you enter Ghat gate you can see this Palace on the right side of the road.
This Palace was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh in 1710 AD for his Rani. It was a beautiful terrace garden&foundains. The top terrace is Palace, it looks calm&beautiful on the backdrop of green mountains.
"The prince was married to Sawai singh with the condition, that the son born to her would succed the throne in super session Sawai Singh elder son or son born to his other previous wives. it was in this palace Madhavas singh first was born, after maharaja's death, his elder stepbrother Sawai Ishwar singh succeeded his father with the support of the nobles of Jaipur.

Sisodia Rani Bagh was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh Ji in the year 1728 for Udaipur princess. She was the second Queen of Maharaja. It was presented to his beloved queen for relaxing amid nature.

The garden was filled with lush greenery, scented flowers, and variety of plantations. The walls were decorated with beautiful Radha Krishna paintings symbolizing his love for the Maharani.
Architecture & Design
Sisodia Rani Garden has a unique charm and appeal to it. It is a depiction of love, glory and fine art. Traditional Indian designs and Mughal architecture is seen in the layout of the garden. The spires, paintings, wall décor, and pavilions are designed in Indian style. Flowerbeds, water channels, and fountains are inspired by Mughals.

A small shrine and natural spring are also inherent in the garden which is dedicated to Hindu Gods: Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Hanuman.
The garden solely expresses the true love of Radha Krishna in form of murals, paintings, and fascinating scenes. However, garden overlooks the highlight of the queen palace that includes paintings of hunting, love legend of Radha Krishna, etc.

During early summers and especially in winters this garden looks heavenly. Best time for visit is from October to the first half of March.
