Day 1: Arrival at Delhi
On arrival at Delhi airport, our representative will escort you and assist you with hotel check-in procedures. Our representative will make information related to the Golden triangle tour available to you. After hotel check-in, day is free for leisure. Dinner will be served at the hotel and night spent in Delhi.#slideshow#
Day 2: Delhi
After breakfast at the hotel, we will leave for Buddhist sites at Nagarjunkonda. The sightseeing will be done via road. At Nagarjunkonda, we will witness the remains of many Buddhist temples from ancient times. The place also features many museums for enhancing the knowledge of tourists about Buddhism. Afternoon is reserved for other historical places in Delhi viz Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, India gate and many more. After visiting the prominent buildings of Delhi like Parliament House, Rashtrapati Bhawan, we will head back to hotel. After dinner, night spent in Delhi.
Day 3: Delhi – Jaipur
This day is reserved for next destination of our Buddhist Golden Triangle tour- Jaipur. Jaipur city is situated in Rajasthan and is also known Pink City. At Jaipur, our representative will escort and assist you to the hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure. After dinner, night spent in Jaipur.
Day 4: Jaipur
Jaipur is the capital city of Rajasthan state and is a prominent destination in our Buddhist Golden Triangle tour. In our tour to Rajasthan we will visit many famous tourist attractions. The trip will commence with elephant rides to Amer Fort. Later the day, we will visit Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Nawab Saheb ki Haveli and Johari Bazar. After dinner at hotel, night spent in Jaipur.
Day 5: Jaipur – Agra
After breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to Agra, our next destination in Buddhist Golden Triangle tour. Visit Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri which is on our way to Agra. On arrival at Agra our representative will escort you to the hotel for night stay. After resting for a while in hotel, we will head to UNESCO world heritage site and one of the current seven wonders of the word, The Taj Mahal. After visiting the Taj Mahal, we visit Red Fort and tomb of Itmad-ud-daula. After dinner, night spent in Agra.
Day 6: Agra – Varanasi
Early in the morning we will leave for airport to board flight to Varanasi. Varanasi is considered as one of the most prominent destinations in Buddhism. On arrival at Varanasi, our representative will escort and assist you with hotel check-in procedures. Later the afternoon, our tour to Varanasi will begin with our visit to Sarnath. Sarnath is famous for its Dhamekh Stupa. Dhamekh is believed as the first place where Lord Buddha preached his first sermon. After dinner at the hotel, night spent in Varanasi.
Day 7: Varanasi
The morning in Varanasi will begin with a tranquilizing experience of boat ride in the sacred river Ganga. River Ganga is considered holy and pious in Hindu religion. During the dawn of the day, River Ganga is witnessed as calm and composed. Later in the day, we visit Vishwanath Temple and Bharat Mata Temple. After dinner at hotel, night spent in Varanasi.
Day 8 – 9: Varanasi – Bodhgaya
We will spend two days at Varanasi and explore most of it. Our stay will feature visit to many shrines dedicated to Buddhism. Our list of destinations includes Rajgir, Nalanda, Sapta Pari, Venevams and many more. Rajgir is known as the first place where council was addressed by Lord Budha after he attained Nirvana. Nalanda is famous as the centre of intellectualism. On our 9th day, guests will be transferred to a hotel in Bodhgaya. After dinner, night spent in Bodhgaya.
Day 10: Bodhgaya – Vaishali – Kushinagar
Early in the morning after breakfast at the hotel, we drive to Vaishali. Vaishali is believed as the place where last sermon was delivered by Lord Buddha. Our voyage in Vaishali includes the famous Ashok Pillar, Lotus Tank and Chaumukhi. After our visit to these sites, we will continue our drive to Kushinagar. On arrival at Kushinagar, our representative will escort you to the hotel and after dinner, night spent in Kushinagar.
Day 11: Kushinagar – Lumbini
After breakfast at the hotel, we will continue our visit to holy Buddhism sites in Kushinagar. In the course of the day we will visit Mahanirvana Temple. Visit to Mahanirvana Temple will be followed by visit to Buddhist monasteries and Buddhist centres of Japan and Sri Lanka. Later in the evening, guests will be escorted to a hotel in Lumbini. After dinner, night spent in Lumbini.
Day 12: Lumbini – Kapilvastu – Sravsati – Balrampur
The day will commence with a visit to famous Asoka Pillar. The Asoka Pillar was constructed in 249 BC. Later the day we visit Mayadevi Temple and remains of an old monastery and Buddhist Stupa. We leave for Balrampur in the afternoon and visit Sravsati which comes on our way to Balrampur. On arrival at Balrampur, our representative will escort and assist you to the hotel. After dinner, night spent in Balrampur.
Day 13: Balrampur – Lucknow
After breakfast at the hotel, we will leave for sight-seeing in Balrampur. Visit to famous temples and monasteries will be followed by a visit to local shopping centres. Later the day, we will drive to Lucknow. On arrival in Lucknow, our representative will escort you to the hotel. After dinner, night spent in Lucknow.
Day 14: Lucknow – Delhi
In the morning after refreshing breakfast served in the hotel, we will start our city tour and visit famous Buddhist monasteries. Our Lucknow city tour will begin with a visit to Imam Bara and followed by a visit to Rumi Darwaza. Later in the day, we will leave for airport to board fight for Delhi. On arrival at Delhi airport our representative will escort you to the hotel. After dinner, night spent in Delhi.
Day 15: Delhi- Departure
The last day of the Buddhist golden triangle tour in Delhi is free for leisure and resting. Later in the afternoon, our representative will make best arrangement for your further journey.
