Day 01: Delhi – Jaipur

Pick-up from Delhi and drive to Jaipur. In the evening free to enjoy the colourful markets of Jaipur. Over-night stay at the hotel.

Day 02: Jaipur

After breakfast, you will proceed on a visit to the ancient capital of the Kachhawaha Rajputs, Amber. Pay directly for your Elephant ride or for the Jeep ride up the fort. enjoy a photo-stop at Hawa Mahal – the palace of wind. Later visit the City Palace and the apartment housing museums with an array of textiles, costumes, arms, weapons and paintings and finally visit Jantar-Mantar, the observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh-II. Day 03: Jaipur – Jodhpur

After breakfast, drive to Jodhpur, which is the second largest city in Rajasthan and is also known as the blue city as most of the houses of the old city are painted blue. The old city is surrounded by a 10 km long wall, which has 101 bastions and seven gates. In the afternoon, visit the Mehrangarh Fort, which was built on a steep hill. The fort is among the best in India with exquisitely latticed windows in residential complexes. Later proceed to Jaswhant Thada, a royal cenotaph built in white marble. Day 04: Jodhpur – Jaisalmer

After breakfast, drive through the desert to reach Jaisalmer. Jaisalmer is famous for its carved havelis (grand mansions). You will realise that Jaisalmer is an exotic marvel of beautiful culture. Stay overnight at your hotel in Jaisalmer.

Day 05: Jaisalmer

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and go on a sightseeing tour of the city covering stunning Jain temples inside the Sonar Quila. The palace museum inside this fort exhibits a rich collection of imperial dresses and artifacts belonging to the royal family of Jaisalmer. In the Afternoon, transfer to Sam dunes This is the closest place from where you can loose yourself in ‘the Great Thar Desert’. Sam has a truly magnificent stretch of sweeping dunes, with sparse or no vegetation. The best way to get here, of course, is on camelback. Day 06: Jaisalmer – Bikaner

Day 01 : Arrive in Delhi. Visit to heritage places in Delhi

On your arrival in Delhi, you will be met by our representative and transferred to hotel. Delhi was the capital of Indraprastha and capital of the Pandavas during the Mahabharata. This magnificent city has been inhabited from the 6th century BC and has been a capital of many kingdoms. It has been destroyed and rebuilt many times and is called the “city of cities”. Delhi’s culture has been influenced by its different rulers and the city is full of beautiful monuments. The Mughal rulers influenced the food habits of the residents and Mughlai cuisine originated here. Due to the proximity of different states, all festivals are celebrated here. Old Delhi is a maze of small lanes lined and old buildings and New Delhi has large road with huge buildings. Delhi is the capital of India and is the hub for politics. Your morning tour starts with Old Delhi, built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in 1639 AD. You will visit the Raj Ghat where father of our nation Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. You will be visiting the museum that was built to commemorate him. You will be driven past the iconic Red Fort and Chandni Chowk, a very popular and a busy market in Old Delhi to the next stop – Jama Masjid, one of the iconic, historic and largest mosques in India – built by Shah Jahan. A rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk could be quite interesting as this part of the city is quite crowded as it is full of shops. These numerous shops sell delicious mouth-watering food, clothes, jewels, household goods, etc. and are virtually a shopper’s paradise. In the afternoon, you will visit Qutub Minar, touted as India’s largest Minaret. Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was built in 1192 by Turk ruler Qutub-Ud-Din Aibak. You will then move forward to Humayun’s tomb, yet another UNESCO world heritage site. Your next stop is India Gate, built in memory of the Unknown Soldier. You will be driven past the Parliament House, President’s House and other Government Secretarial Buildings, to your final destination will be at Lakshminarayan Temple, a temple dedicated to Lakshmi and Lord Narayana. Overnight is in Delhi.

Day 02: Drive from Delhi to Mandawa

This day, you will be transferred by road from Delhi to Mandawa. Shekhawati was established by Shekhawat Rajputs and named after Rao Shekha. These kings built more than 50 forts and palaces and most of them have been converted to heritage hotels. The villages of Shekhawati are famous for the painted havelis or houses and have the highest number of frescos in the world. The Marwaris were an influential business community in this region and in the 19th century, many left their families to migrate to larger cities where they succeeded quite well. With this money, the Marwaris built large houses in these villages and to tell the world about their success, they hired artists to paint these houses and havelis. Rest of the day is at leisure. The transport is at your disposal with-in the city limits. Overnight is in Mandawa or one of the villages of Shekhawati.

Day 03: Drive from Mandawa to Bikaner

On this day, you will drive to Bikaner straight from Mandawa. In the afternoon tour to Bikaner, you will visit the amazing Junagadh fort. This one of the few fortresses in Rajasthan state which are built on ground level. It is an exquisite combination of Mughal and Rajput style of architectural design. In 18th century, a touch of western style was added by Maharaja Dungar Singh to make it more remarkable and impeccable. This fort has seven gates along with 37 pavilions, 30 feet broad moat, heavy wall and huge number of balconies with well-designed windows. It has a gate named Suraj Pol because rays of sun directly fall on its gate. Another gate which is double sided has breathtaking designs. Another doorway takes straight to Joramal temple which is exclusively designed. Next, you will visit Har Mandir which is built in the name of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi where kings use to celebrate their special occasions. Day 04: Drive from Bikaner to Jaisalmer (331 Kms)

Drive Bikaner to Jaisalmer (331 kms). Today you will be transferred by road from Bikaner to Jaisalmer. Situated in the Thar Desert of Rajasthan, Jaisalmer is a colorful treasure chest of art, music, architecture, culture and tradition. The “Golden City of India” as Jaisalmer is popularly known, it is one of the most fascinating places and the yellow sand, camel safaris, magnificent palaces, marvelous havelis and beautiful Jain temples here will leave you in enchantment. Day 05: Sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer

In the morning, your first travel destination is the Jaisalmer Fort which is one of the oldest living forts of the world. The fort is constructed by using an yellow stone which from a distance makes its shine like it is made of gold, due to which it is also known as “Sonar Quila” or “The Golden Fort”. Located in midst of sandy terrains, the 12 the century fort is a blend of Indian architecture with Military designs crafted on it. The palaces of Maharwals contain ornamental designs of wooden carvings that enhance the beauty of this fort. You will get to see a 5 storied Tazia Tower in this fort which reflects architectural skills of local craftsmen during ancient period. The next stop in your program will be visit to some of the havelis. Salim Ji Ki Haveli made up of yellow sandstone with balconies designed in different styles of architecture still has a large number of people residing here. Designed beautifully, the Haveli is built in with intricate roof carvings and served as residence for Mohta family for decades. It has exquisitely carved pillars painted with beautiful ornaments of Gold and silver. Visit some other Havelis, Patwon ki Haveli, etc which depict an interesting piece of architecture built of the ancient times. Day 06: Drive from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur ( 285 kms)

This morning, you will be driven to Jodhpur, the second largest city of Rajasthan. Jodhpur also known as the Sun City or the Blue City is the second largest city in Rajasthan and was the former capital of Marwar kingdom. It is named after its founder Rao Jodha who established this city in 1459. The city was in the route of Delhi to Gujarat and was a trading centre for copper, opium, silk, etc. Jodhpur is quite known for its festivals and fairs and Gangaur, Teej, Nag Panchmi, etc are celebrated with a big pomp. The Jodhpur sweets are quite known through out India. Jodhpur has become an important centre for big weddings and also for movie shoots. In the afternoon, you will be taken to Meherangarh fort, one of the largest forts in not only Rajasthan but in India as well, situated on a low sandstone hill, at an altitude of 120 meters. The fort with menacing thick walls contains many palaces with expansive courtyards and intricate carvings. Moti Mahal – the Pearl Palace, is one of the beautiful palaces situated in the fort and was built by Raja Sur Singh. Later you will be taken to Phool Mahal – the Palace of Flowers, built by Maharaja Abhaya Singh, and believed to be an exclusive and private chamber of pleasure. You will visit Jaswant Thada, built in 1889 by Sardar Singh in remembrance of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. The entire structure is constructed out of thin and polished sheets of Marble which makes it ever so beautiful when sunlight falls over it. Your visit continues to Umaid Public Gardens which houses the Government Museum and the Umaid Bhawan Museum, with a vast collection of artifacts displaying rich history of region. Day 07: Drive from Jodhpur to Ranakpur to Udaipur (255 Kms)

In the morning you will be transferred by road from Jodhpur to Udaipur. On the way, 98 km from Udaipur, you will be stopping at Ranakpur to visit the beautiful Jain Temples from 15th century. The popular Chamukha temple of Ranakpur made of marble is dedicated to Adinathji the first Tirthankara. It is composed of more than twenty halls and 1444 pillars which are not similar to each other. The shade and lights of this place is really outstanding and is a real treat to your eyes. If time permits, you could also visit the Surya Temple and the Jain Temple. You will have a free time in the evening in the city of lakes. Udaipur known as the City of Lakes, or the Venice of the East was the historic capital of the kingdom of Mewar and founded by Rana Udai Singh in 1559. The legendary Maharana Pratap was born in Udaipur who fought against Emperor Akbar in 1576 and is remembered for his bravery. Maharana means the Great Warrior, and the one from Udaipur is the head of all the Rajput clans. In the 12th century the Parihara prince of Mandore awarded the title of Rana to the Prince of Mewar. The rulers from this dynasty are called Suryavanshis (descendents of the Sun) and have the Sun as their insignia. A stay in the Lake Palace hotel situated in the middle of a lake is like a dream. Day 08: Sightseeing tour of Udaipur

In the morning, your tour starts with the City Palace, situated on the bank of Pichola Lake. This Palace was constructed by Maharana Udai Mirza Singh in 1559 A.D. Your next stop is the Jagdish Temple built by Maharana Jagat Singh. The architecture of this temple is based on Indo-Aryan style and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is one of the biggest shrines of Udaipur. You will be taken on a drive around Fatehsagar Lake, built in 1678 by Maharana Fateh Singh. Your next stop will be at Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir located near Chetak Circle. It is one of most renowned museums of Udaipur, exhibiting the dazzling gathering of folk articles of Rajasthan. Your final destination will be at Sahelion ki Bari (Queen’s resort for her friends). Day 09: Drive from Udaipur to Pushkar (320 Kms)

In the morning, you will be transferred by road from Udaipur to Pushkar. In the afternoon, you will be visiting Pushkar – one of the most sacred pilgrimages for Hindus and considered to be one of the oldest existing cities in India and it is said that Lord Brahma created this holiest of cities for the Hindus. When a demon Vajra Nabha killed Brahma’s children, Brahma hit him with a lotus flower which killed the demon. A lotus petal fell in Pushkar and a lake was formed where Brahma performed a sacrifice on a full moon day. A temple dedicated to Brahma is the only one of its kind in the world. Hindus believe that bathing in the lake will ensure salvation. Pushkar is famous for its Camel fair when thousands of camels and cattle are traded. Day 10: Drive from Pushkar to Jaipur (143 Kms)

Early in the morning, you will be driven to Jaipur. Jaipur, also known as the pink city is the capital of Rajasthan. Many captivating palaces are present here having breathtaking design and architecture. In the 18th century Prince of Wales had visited Jaipur and the entire city was painted in pink color and due to these pink buildings the city is known as the pink city. Origin of Jaipur is 260 years back. It was built by Maharaja Jai Singh and Jaipur got its name from this king. The day could be spent visiting the colorful bazaars of Jaipur after the sight seeing. The Jaipur journey starts from Amer fort also known as Amer Palace, the earlier capital of Jaipur. This magnificent fort was constructed in red sand-stone and marble by Raja Man Singh and is divided into four sections each with a courtyard. The main entrance gate is Surajpol having a fascinating architecture. Near the Ganesh Gate, there is a temple dedicated to the Goddess Sila Devi. The Diwan-e-Aam – hall of public audience, Diwan-e-Khas – hall of private audience, Sheesh Mahal – palace of mirrors and Sukh Niwas are quite beautiful. At the Sukh Niwas, a pleasant climate is created by winds that blow over a water cascade. You could ascend the fort by walking up the steps or on an elephant’s back or in jeep. Later you will be taken to Maharaja City Palace, a royal palace with seven storeys as well as Jantar Mantar, the observatory. This wonderful observatory attracts mathematicians as well as astronomers from the whole world. City palace is perfect blend of all three excellent styles (Mughal, Rajput and European). Another palace, Hawa Mahal is popular all over world for its magnificent architecture. You will be taken through Pink Rose Garden as well business centers of Jaipur. Day 11: Drive from Jaipur to Fatehpuri Sikri to Agra (244 Kms)

This morning, you will be transferred from Jaipur to Agra enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri, built in the 16th century by Emperor Akbar. Fatehpur Sikri holds exceptional testimony to Mughal civilization and is one of well-known UNESCO World heritage site of India and has various historical monuments. You will visit the Jama Masjid, followed by the Tomb of Salim Chishti, the five storied Panch Mahal and Buland Darwaza- a graceful monument and stupendous piece of beautiful architecture. It is central portico with a total of three arched entrances and is locally known as Horseshoe gate. You will visit the other graceful buildings of this place such as Ibadat Khana, Mariam-uz-Zamani’s palace, Naubat Khana and Birbal’s house.Later you will be driven to Agra. In the afternoon visit of Agra, you will be taken to Taj Mahal, one of the wonders of the world. Your next stop Agra Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and known for its architectural structure and was built in the 16th century during the Mughal Empire. This place comprises of several fairy-tale palaces like Khas Mahal and Jahangir Palace. Day 01 : Delhi

Day 02 : Delhi – Agra (205 km / 4-5 hours)

In the morning, you will go out for Delhi sightseeing tour. You will visit India Gate, Qutub Minar, Laxmi Narayan Temple a (modern Hindu temple), drive past President’s estate, Parliament House, Secretariat building, Raj Ghat and Shanti van, the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, the Red Fort and Chandani Chowk. Day 03 : Agra – Jaipur (245 km / 5-6 hours)

In the morning, you will see the Taj Mahal at sunrise. It looks majestic in the crimson light of the rising sun. Taj is dazzlingly beautiful. It was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife, Mumtaj Mahal. Also visit the Agra Fort built by Emperor Akbar. Drive to Fatehpur Sikri – the abandoned city of Emperor Akbar. Continue driving to Jaipur where you will be checked into a hotel on arrival. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 04 : Jaipur

In the morning, you will set out on a sightseeing tour of Jaipur. You will visit the Amber Fort, the most famous fort of Rajasthan. The thrilling elephant ride up the hill is exhilarating. Explore the Shish Mahal built during the 17th century. This is the quintessential destination of Rajasthan Tours India. It is a fine specimen of Rajput architecture. Day 08 : Pushkar – Sariska (252 km / 5-6 hours)

City Palace- It is a majestic architectural wonder, towering over the lake on a hill, surrounded by crenellated walls, it is a conglomeration of courtyards, pavilions, terraces, corridors, rooms and hanging gardens. The main entrance is through the triple arched gate, the ‘Tripolia‘ with eight marble porticos. The Maharanas were weighed under the gate in gold, the correspondent amount of which was distributed among the general population.

Pratap Memorial- The memorial of the Rajput hero, Maharana Pratap is located at the top of the “Moti Magri” or the Pearl Hill.

Jagdish Temple- This temple was built in 1651 A.D. by Maharana Jagat Singh. This Indo-Aryan temple is the largest and the most beautiful temple of Udaipur with its remarkable sculpted images.

Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir- It is folk arts museum with an interesting collection of Indian folk arts, folk dresses, ornaments, puppets, masks, dolls, folk musical instruments, folk deities and paintings.

Saheliyon-ki-Bari (Garden of the maids of Honor) – This small garden was a popular relaxing spot of royal ladies, who came for a stroll and hence the name. The garden has many fountains in its four delightful pools, chiseled kiosks and marble elephants.

Day 05- Udaipur / Kumbhalgarh (90 Km)

Meherangarh Fort- It is a 5 km long majestic fort, situated on a 125 meter high hill. It is one of the most impressive and formidable forts of India. The fort has four gates approached by a winding road. Within the fort you will find some magnificent palaces with beautifully carved panels, latticed windows and suggestive names. Prominent of these are the Moti Mahal, the Phool Mahal, the Sheesh Mahal, the Sileh Khana and the Daulat Khana. In these palaces you will find a wonderful collection of trappings of Indian royalty (a collection of palanquins, elephant howdahs, miniature paintings of various schools, musical instruments, costumes and furniture).

Jaswant Thada- It is a cluster of royal cenotaphs in white marble built in 1899 A.D. in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. Inside the main cenotaph are the portraits of various Jodhpur rulers.

Day 08- Jaisalmer
Breakfast at the hotel follows a morning guided sight seeing tour of city. In the evening, go for Camel safari on sand dunes. Spend the night at the hotel.

Jaisalmer Fort- The Jaisalmer fort stands almost 30 meters over the city and houses an entire living area within its huge ramparts. It was one of the last bastions of the region and founded on the cross roads of trade routes. The fort is surrounded by fortifications and 99 turrets. The fort is approached through Ganesh Pol, Suraj Pol, Bhoot Pol and Hawa Pol. Also, within it are many beautiful Havelis and a group of Jain temples dating back to the 12th and the 15th centuries.

Gadsisar Lake- It is a picturesque rain Water Lake with numerous beautiful shrines around and a spectacular avian variety. The lake is an tranquil spot for outings.

Tazia Tower- The Tazia tower is a pagoda like structure rising up from the ‘Badal Mahal’ with beautiful ‘Taazias’ (ornately decorated bamboo, paper and tinsel replicas of a bier, carried out in procession during Moharram by the Muslims).

Havelis
The whole landscape of Rajasthan is dotted with some of the most striking mansions or Havelis, all intricately latticed. The most remarkable part of these Havelis is that each one of them has a different fascia.

Nathmalji-ki-Haveli- This Haveli belongs to the late 19th century and a fantastic example of craftsmanship. Though both left and the right wings of the mansion are similar and balanced in design but are not identical as they were carved by two brothers. The interior walls of the Haveli are well elaborated with splendid miniature paintings.

Patwon- ki- Haveli- This is the most detailed and splendid Haveli of Jaisalmer. It has neatly carved pillars and broad corridors and chambers. Another remarkable feature of this Haveli is that one of the apartments of this Haveli is painted with beautiful frescos.

Salim Singh-Ki-Haveli- This Haveli was built by Jaisalmer’s Prime Minister Maharaja Rawal Gaj Singh-Salim Singh. It is about 300 years old. The Haveli has a beautiful blue cupola roof with superbly carved brackets in the form of peacocks. The Haveli is built in yellow stone and is full of elaborate carvings and has a projecting balcony on the topmost storey. Salim Singh-Ki-Haveli is among the most notable Havelis.

Jain Temple- In the Jaisalmer fort you will find three graceful Jain temples dedicated to the Jain Tirthankars- Rishabhdev, Sambhavnath and Paraswanath.

Gyan Bhandar or Library houses some of the oldest manuscripts of India. It was established as a part of Jain temples.

Day 09- Jaisalmer/ Bikaner (300Km)
After breakfast you will be driven to Bikaner (approx. 7 – 8 hrs). Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. After a brief rest, set out to explore the history and culture of Bikaner. Spend the night at the hotel.

Day 10- Bikaner/ Mandawa

Day 11- Mandawa/Jaipur

Day 12- Jaipur

The City Palace- It was the residence of the erstwhile Rajput rulers. The city Palace is built in Rajasthani and Mughal styles. The carved arches of the city Palace are supported by grey-white marble columns elaborate with floral motifs in gold and colored stones.

At the entrance of the City Palace stand two carved elephants in marble, guarding the entrance. The City Palace houses a museum, which has a fabulous collection of Rajasthani costumes and armory of Mughals and Rajputs. There is an art gallery inside the Palace, having an excellent collection of miniature paintings, carpets, royal paraphernalia and rare astronomical works in Arabic, Persian, Latin and Sanskrit. All these were obtained by Sawai Jai Singh II to study astronomy.

Jantar Mantar- It is one of the 5 observatories built by the former ruler of Amber, Jai Singh. It is the largest of all. The observatory complex has instruments, whose setting and shapes are scientifically designed. These observatories are an insight into the medieval Indian astronomy. The most remarkable of these instruments are the Ram Yantras used for gauging altitudes.

Govind Devji Temple- It is supposed to be the most popular temple of Jaipur, dedicated to Lord Krishna. Govind Devji Temple is located in the central pavilion of the Jai Niwas Garden to the north of the Chandra Mahal. The patron deity of the temple is Govind Devji. The image of Govind Devji was installed here by Sawai Jai Singh II as his family deity.

Hawa Mahal- Hawa Mahal is the most important landmark of the Pink city, Jaipur. It was built in 1799 A.D. Hawa Mahal is a five storey building, along the main street of the old city with semi octagonal and delicately honey-combed sandstone windows. The Hawa Mahal was originally built with the aim of helping the royal ladies to watch the everyday life and royal processions of the city.

Birla Planetarium (Time 12.00 hrs to 19.00 hrs.)- The Planetarium offers unique audio-visual education and entertainment with its modern computerized projection system. There is a provision of concessions for schools also. The planetarium remains closed on the last Wednesday of every month.

Jaigarh Fort- Jaigarh fort is one of the few military structures of medieval India, which still retain their old splendor. The Jaigarh Fort houses palaces, gardens, reservoirs, a granary, an armory, a well planned cannon foundry, several temples, a tall tower and giant mounted cannon- the Jai Ban. The broad parkotas (walls), watch tower and gateways of Jaigarh dominate the western skyline.

Amber Fort- It is the former capital of the Kachchwaha Rajputs, of the old Dhundhar state. Unfortunately, very little of the main structures survive now.

Day 13- Jaipur/ Agra (250 Km)
Have your breakfast at the hotel, check out and drive to Agra, visiting the deserted town of Fatehpur Sikri, the former capital of the Mughals. Breakfast then head east to Agra, en-route a brief exploration to the former royal city of Fatehpur Sikri (about 1.5 hrs), one of the finest examples of Mughal architectural splendor at its height, built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. Have lunch after that and proceed to Agra. check-in HOTEL.on arrival and rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 03 : Agra – Varanasi
Today you start visit to Taj Mahal (closed on Friday) which frees you from the crowds and heat in daytime from an early morning; this white-marble world wonder was built by a great emperor in memory of his beloved. Later visit the palatial Royal Pavilions at the red sandstone Agra Fort for a glimpse of the royal Mughal lifestyle. In the evening transfer to railway station to board train to Varanasi. Night in the train.

Day 04 : Varanasi
This evening, you will witness the thousand-year-old Aarti Ceremony during which worshippers pray near the water by the light of candles and lanterns.

Day 05 : Varanasi Sightseeing
Your guide will meet you at the hotel before sunrise, so you can witness the amazing spectacle which takes place on Varanasi’s water front at the start of every day. The principal attraction of Varanasi is the long string of bathing ghats, which line the west bank of the River Ganges. Ghats are the steps which lead down to the river from which pilgrims make their sin-cleansing dip in the holy river and on which bodies are cremated. A boat ride on the Ganges at dawn, when it is full of pilgrims, is an amazing experience, and your guide can explain to you the various rituals taking place.Leave the boat after passing the most important Ghats, then continue to have a brief city tour to Banaras Hindu University, Golden Temple and Bharat Mata Temple which is dedicated to Mother India.Afternoon continue your adventure to Sarnath (The Deer Park ) where the Buddha preached his first sermon and Sarnath Museum. Day 06 : Varanasi – Delhi
Enjoy a free day before heading to the railway station to board on night train to Delhi.

Day 1: ARRIVAL AT DEHRADUN

As soon as you arrive in Dehradun, your journey to the religious Char Dham situated in the Himalayas will begin. Our representatives will meet you at your entrance to this beautiful city known as the winter capital of Uttarakhand. This point will be the start and end point of your journey. Vehicles will be arranged for pick and drop. You will be checked in to your hotel in Dehradun for a relaxing night stay before your pilgrimage begins.

Day 2: DEHRADUN TO YAMUNOTRI

0700 AM DEPARTURE SAHASTRADHARA HELIPAD, DEHRADUN
0745 AM ARRIVAL KHARSALI HELIPAD, YAMUNOTRI

Post Breakfast, you will be transferred to the Sahastradhara Helipad. Your helicopters will be waiting for you to start this journey of a lifetime. Our ground staff and pilots will be briefing you before the ride begins, about the trip and the various do’s and don’ts to follow throughout.

On reaching Kharsali, the Yamunotri Helipad, you will be welcomed by our ground staff and will be served Breakfast. Your baggage will be safely taken to your hotel by the ground staff. A Palki Service will be arranged for the trek of 6 kms towards the Yamunotri Temple. The time for the total journey will be approx. 5 hours and 30 minutes.

You will return to hotel for Lunch and some rest. As the evening arrives, we will be visiting the Shani Temple, situated nearer to the Hotel.

Day 3: YAMUNOTRI TO GANGOTRI

As soon as you wake up, early in the morning, you will be taken to the Kharsali Helipad. Your helicopter will take you to the Harsil Helipad, in Gangotri. The ride will be around 45 mins journey. Harsil is called Mini Switzerland owing to its beautiful and picturesque valley and scenic features. You will be taken to the Himalayan Nature Resort, situated at a distance of just 2 kilometers from the Helipad. The Gangotri Temple is situated at a distance of 22 km from the helipad. You will experience the temple vibes and return to your hotel. Evening time will be made incredible with a bonfire beneath the clear starry sky to enjoy.

Day 4: GANGOTRI TO KEDARNATH

1000 AM ARRIVAL KEDARNATH HELIPAD, KEDARNATH

Today, after a scrumptious breakfast, we will be heading towards the next Dham, the Kedarnath Mandir. We will be flying to the Sersa Helipad first. After arrival at Sersa, we will change the chopper to forward journey to the Kedarnath Helipad. The temple of Kedarnath is situated at a distance of around 500km from here. Trek along the way to the magical Kedarnath Temple flanked with breath-taking views of the snow-capped mountains while registering the majestic valley in your minds.
Once your Darshan is completed, we will return back to Guptakashi for overnight stay. Rest here for some time, as the evening will bring with it a visit to the ancient Kalimath Temple.

Day 5: KEDARNATH TO BADRINATH

1000 AM DEPARTURE SERSI HELIPAD, GUPTAKASHI
1100 AM ARRIVAL BADRINATH HELIPAD, BADRINATH

Today we will visit the fourth Dham of the religious tour, Badrinath Temple. According to the Hindu Legend, Lord Shiva discovered a black stone image of Lord Badrinarayan made of Saligram in the nearby Alaknanda River. You will be transferred to Badrinath Helipad from Guptakash after checking out from your hotel. Indulge in the Badrinath Exclusive Maha Abhishek Puja arranged for you at the temple by us. After spending some time at the sacred temple, you will be returned to your hotel for lunch and rest.

In the evening, we will be visiting the Mana Village, situated nearby. Mana is known to be the last Indian village on the Indo-China border and is referred to as the Tourism Village by the Uttarakhand Government. The village gives you a scenic and mesmerizing view of the Himalayan Mountain Ranges surrounding the village.
After the visit, you will return to the hotel for Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: BADRINATH TO DEHRADUN

Worth visiting are the Aath Haveli complexes, Anandilal Poddar Haveli, Bansidhar Bhagat Haveli & Chokhani Haveli. Afternoon Drive to Bikaner – 175 kms (3 hrs), transfer to hotel on arrival. Day 05: Bikaner

Morning take a sightseeing tour of Bikaner covering Junagadh Fort – constructed between 1588 and 1593 by Raja Rai Singh, fort has a 986 meter long wall with 37 bastions & two entrances, Bhand Sagar Temple – The 16th century Jain temple, is the most important of this temple complex, Camel Breeding Farm – a unique experience where you can ride on a camel & have perhaps the first taste of camel’s milk. Day 06: Bikaner – Jaisalmer (333 kms – 6 hours)

Morning checkout and drive to Jaisalmer – 330 kms (6 hrs), Arrive and check into hotel. Afternoon free to relax or enjoy the city atmosphere. Evening visit Gadisar Lake, Overnight at hotel.

Day 07: Jaisalmer

Morning take a sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer covering Jaisalmer Fort – built on the highest point of the Tricuta hill, consisting of 99 bastions. Outstanding features are Megh Durbar & various temples, Salim Singh-Ki-Haveli & Patwon–Ki-Haveli – some of the beautiful mansions with stone carving and latticework of breath taking intricacy. Day 08: Jaisalmer – Ramkunda

After breakfast start by camel for Badabagh : The site of royal cenotaphs of Bhatti Rajput Kings (The then rulers of Jaisalmer) Have lunch at Baisakhi : a typical village, visit a Hindu temple then proceed to Ramkunda, a holy place with beautiful landscapes & Hindu temples. Dinner and overnight in tents.

Day 09: Ramkunda – Chatrayil

After breakfast proceed to Ludharva via Roopse, a mixed cast village with mud and stick houses. Have Lunch at Ludharva, visit Jain temple & proceed to Chatrayil, a traditional and typical Muslim village, Reach Peerawal. Dinner and overnight at tents.

Day 10: Chatrayil – Sam Sand dunes

Via Beri of Kanoi : a place packed with water wells. Here you can see how the ladies are balancing the water pots on their head as well as their Colorful dresses. Reach sand dunes. Dinner, desert folk music, campfire is at sand dunes.

Day 11: Sam Sand dunes – Jessieri

After breakfast proceed to Masordi via Kanoi. A typical carpenters village. Here you can see and buy beautifully carved wooden items. Arrive Masordi and have lunch. After lunch proceed to Jessieri : a water tank surroundings by Oasis and beautiful landscape. Dinner and over night in the tents.

Day 12: Jessieri – Kuldhara

After breakfast proceed to Deegasar via Dedha : A Rajput village and the life style of Rajputs. Have your lunch at Deegasar : a place surrounded with beautiful landscape and a small lake. Proceed further for Kuldhara via a small Rajput Dhani : A typical group of houses where people stay while cultivating their agriculture fields. Arrive Kuldhara : where you will see planning of villages in ancient times. Overnight at camps.

Day 11: Kuldhara – Jaisalmer

After breakfast leave for Jaisalmer via Mool Sagar and Amar Sagar. On arrival check in into hotel. Rest of the day free to relax. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12: Jaisalmer – Jodhpur (290 kms – 6 hours)

Morning checkout and drive to Jodhpur, on arrival transfer to hotel. Day free to relax till 1500 hrs, later visit Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada and Umaid Bhawan Palace. Evening visit Balsamand Lake and Palace, overnight at the hotel.

Day 13: Jodhpur – Udaipur (276 kms – 5 hours)

Morning checkout and drive to Udaipur, enroute visit the famous Ranakpur Temples of 12th Century, and later visit Kumbhalgarh Fort enroute to Udaipur. Kumbhalgarh Fort is known for its longest wall of 36 kms surrounding the fort with 360 inbuilt temples in the wall, some of the temple now leis in the state of ruin. Proceed to Udaipur, on arrival transfer to hotel. Evening free to relax, overnight at the hotel.

Day 14: Udaipur

Morning visit City Palace – located amidst Lake Pichola, comprising of Crystal Gallery, Durbar Hall and Jagdish Temple. After lunch visit Sahelion – Ki – Bari – The garden for the maids of honour of the queen. Evening visit Eklingji & Nagda Temples – built in white marble with a double storied porch on the bank of Lake bagel – 22 kms from Udaipur. Drive back to Udaipur for overnight.

Day 15: Udaipur – Bijaipur (150 kms – 3 hours)

Morning checkout and drive to Bijaipur enroute visit one of the finest forts of Asia ; Chittaurgarh Fort comprising of Man Palace, Padminis Palace, and Towers of Peace and Victory, you will be driving on this fort to cover all this places. One can have good lunch at Pratap Palace in Chittaurgarh and proceed to Bijaipur. On arrival transfer to Castle Bijaipur which is a 16 Century Castle owned & run by descendants of Maharana Pratap. Later in the day visit Lotus Lake & take a drive into the tribal villages of Bijaipur. Enjoy folk dance & music while you dine, overnight in Bijaipur.

Day 16: Bijaipur – Bundi (100 kms – 2 to 3 hrs)

Morning checkout and drive to Bundi –Bundi, enroute visit Shivji Temple on the edge of a hill where Menal Water falls commence, this is a very scenic place, I have not given you earlier because you were driving 250 kms from Udaipur to Bundi directly, proceed to Bundi on arrival transfer to hotel. Later visit Taragarh Fort built in 1354 A.D., Bundi Palace, Chhattar Mahal, Ratan Daulat, Chitrashala, Nawal Sagar lake, Raniji – ki – Baori (Step well), Sukh Mahal, Phool Sagar, and eighty four pillared cenotaph (All near Taragarh Fort and Bundi Palace). Overnight at the hotel.

Day 17: Bundi – Pushkar (200 kms – 4 hours)

Morning drive to Pushkar. Arrive Pushkar and check – in at hotel. Later visit Pushkar Lake which is believed by the Hindus to be as old as creation, has been a place of pilgrimage through the centuries. There are 52 bathing Ghats built around the lake. Also visit the only temple of Lord Krishna. Pushkar draws thousands of tourist every year in the month of November to witness the Pushkar Fair. One can also visit Ajmer to see Taragarh Fort, Adhai Din ka Jhopda & Shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti, evening free to relax, overnight in Pushkar.

Day 18: Pushkar – Jaipur (131 kms – hours)

Early morning one can visit the lakeside to see devotees offering prayers to the sun god at the time of sunrise. Later checkout and drive to Jaipur – 131 kms, on arrival transfer to hotel. After freshen up visit Nahargarh Fort, which is litted up by floodlights in the evening. Or one can just relax, overnight at the hotel.

Day 19: Jaipur

Morning take an excursion tour to Amber Fort where one can enjoy Elephant ride to ascend the Fort. Later take a sight take a sightseeing tour of Jaipur visiting City Palace, Hawa Mahal, and Jantar Mantar. Rest of the day is kept free to explore the Carpet, Gems & Jewellery markets of Jaipur. Later in the day one can visit Sanganer a small village, 16 km south of Jaipur, well known for their hand-made paper and block printing. Evening one can visit Chokhi Dhani – an ethnic resort serving Rajasthani cuisine with live music and puppet shows in an ambiance of an ethnic village. Return to the hotel for overnight.

Day 20: Jaipur – Ranthambhor (180 kms – 3 to 4 hours)

Morning checkout and drive to Ranthambhor, on arrival transfer to Jungle Resort, day free to relax, take Game Drive by Jungle Safari van at 1600 hrs till 1800 hrs, evening free to relax, overnight at the Jungle Resort.

Day 21: Ranthambhor – Agra (230 kms – 5 hours)

Early morning visit the National Park again for Game Drive, while returning from the game drive visit Ranthambhor Fort, Morning checkout and drive to Agra – 230 kms, enroute visiting the old dynasty of Mughals; Fatehpur & Sikri, visit the Fort, Buland Darwaza and Shrine of Shaikh Salim Chisti. Later proceed to Agra, on arrival transfer to hotel. Evening one can visit the Taj Mahal. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 22: Agra – Delhi (200 kms – 4 hours)

Early morning one can visit the Taj Mahal to see it over the sunrise, later Morning visit Agra Fort, Itimad-ud-Daulah Tomb and Moti Masjid. Later checkout and drive to Delhi – 200 kms, on arrival transfer to hotel. Evening free to relax, overnight in Delhi.

Day 23: Delhi – Home
