Day 1 – Haridwar to Barkot by Car: Arrival –
Begin your journey for Char Dham Yatra today. Get picked up by our representative in Haridwar who will escort you to Barkot via Mussoorie by car. Day 2 – Barkot: Trip to Yamunotri Dham-
Wake up, have breakfast, and get ready as the much-awaited Char Dham Yatra begins today. Start your drive from Barkot to Yamunotri Dham, India’s second most holy river from where the Yamuna river has originated. After reaching Jan ki Chatti, take a bath in Jamnabai Kund, which is believed to cleanse and protect from a painful death. After the bath, start a 6 km trek. This can be covered by walking, horse, or doli. Once you reach the temple, give your respects, and praise the mother Yamuna. The idol of Ganga Devi is placed inside the temple. Next, visit Surya Kund, a hot spring near the temple. The kund is so hot that you can boil some rice and potatoes here. Take this as a prasad of the Devi.
After the visit to Yamunotri, trek down to Jan ki Chatti and drive back to Barkot.

Day 3 – Uttarkashi: Visit Vishwanath Temple-
On this day you will be heading out to the next location, Uttarkashi. This town is situated along the banks of river Bhagirathi and is the district capital of the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand. On arrival, pay homage to Vishwanath Temple, one of the oldest Shiva temples in Northern India, and Shakti Temple, famous for the big Trishul of 6 meters in height and 90 cm in circumference. After that make your way to the hotel and relax for the rest of the day.

Day 6 – Kedarnath: Visit to Kedarnath temple-

Gaurikund is a natural pool with hot water, which is known for relieving skin problems. Leave early to partake in aarti at the temple. The entire trek depends upon your fitness level, so make sure you are physically fit. You can also take ponies or palki (palanquins) for the journey to make it a tad bit comfortable. In between, stop for lunch at various food joints and continue the journey to Kedarnath Temple. Once reached, praise the almighty Lord Shiva. Witness the entire valley echoing with the sounds of ringing bells and religious prayers. After the aarti is over, check-in to a hotel in Kedarnath.
