The Mansapurna Karni Ropeway connects the Sri Karni Mata Temple at Machala Hill and the Deendayal Upadhyay Park in Udaipur. The Temple which was on top of a hill was not easily accessible for many, especially the elderly because of the tedious climb up the steep hill. But with the launch of the ropeway has been easier for many to visit the Temple.
Besides its obvious usefulness, the ropeway is a perfect way to get the most spectacular view of the City of Lakes. The cable car ride offers the best view of the most popular places to see in Udaipur such as the City Palace, Lake Pichola, Fateh Sagar Lake, Sajjangarh Fort and the surrounding Aravalli Ranges.
