It isn’t just the museum that is worth seeing though. The city of Ahar has several chattris and arches dedicated to different kings that make it a huge tourist attraction. These tiny monuments are also important to the people as they honor these great rulers of the past. In fact, a lot of people visit this cite not to admire the beautiful architecture but as homage to the history that is represented by them. As it is a very short distance from Udaipur, it is certainly worth the day trip.
It is not only famous for its archaeological museum which has now become a recent hot topic amongst the circle of archaeologists, but has gained popularity because of the beautiful cenotaphs that are found here. One of the seven most royal cenotaphs found in Rajasthan, this spot is a hot bed for archaeological activity
